Maggie is a dairy show cow at the Dixon Ranch until its entire herd is stolen one night by the West's Most Wanted, Alameda Slim (Randy Quaid, "The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle"). As the film's opening credits run to its first new song, we see a hapless rabbit given the Wile E. Coyote treatment as herds are driven across the prairie. Roseanne Barr, our narrator, introduces Maggie with 'That's me. I'm a cow.' This style of irreverent humor is woven throughout this 'save the farm' saga.

Parents need to know that this movie has some peril and mostly comic action sequences. A roller-coaster-ish ride may be too intense for the youngest children. The movie has brief crude humor, including a quick cross-dressing joke, and some mild language. Some children may be upset by the idea of having a bank foreclose a mortgage and might need to be reassured that their home is safe. There are also three very busy little pigs, and Steve Buscemi almost seems to be playing himself as a critter named Wesley. Sure, the main characters can be kind of annoying, and the plot has it's moments, but all in all it kind of drags. I was shocked, surprised and flabbergasted by the negative reviews I see on the web, I thought that Disney's final 2D animated film happens to be one of their best works yet.

Overall then a pretty lacklustre product across the board that seems to be content to just take the success that simply being in a genre that we had gotten used to being good. It might amuse young children with its big bright shapes and loud noises but older children and certainly adults will find little to entertain. This, though, is a sleepwalk of a feature in so many ways. Not in the animation, which isn't bad (though not much special, in context of what's out there). From the moment the film starts, we know it's not going to be good, but the more I watch it now, the more cringe-worthy and unwatchable it gets.

His identical henchmen are unimpressive, and perhaps even unnecessary. Rico is underused, the cows are fine but Buck was a tad annoying at times, not always though. One of the better aspects of the movie was the voice cast, with Randy Quaid evidently relishing his role as Slim, and Roseanne Barr and Judi Dench are very good, despite their meagre material.

The identity of “Marvin” is not entirely clear, but it seems likely that he was Gen. Marvin C. Demler, deputy commander at ARDC at the time. This is supported by a secondary source that stated Ehricke visited ARDC headquarters in October 1957, though it is not clear where that particular item is sourced from. From a timing perspective, that is a great match for the handwritten note prefacing the memo. While Gen. Curtis LeMay pushed the Air Force for “faster and higher bombers,” Gen. Henry H. Arnold pushed the Air Force for more innovation, to look into the future, and said, “The Third World War will be different. It will be won by brains.” Gen. Bernard Schriever was recruited as liaison between the Air Force and civilian scientists, such as from MIT, working on Air Force projects.

Buck also decides to go after Alameda Slim, as does a bounty hunter named Rico. All sorts of shenanigans and Wild West adventures occur as the cows race to capture Slim, get the reward, and save Patch of Heaven Ranch. A lot of Disney’s movies from the early 2000’s are actually not half bad, and I consider several of them underrated. This film is absolutely bananas in all of the worst ways. Roseanne employs her most grating voice here, and her character’s constant wisecracks are not funny or charming.

Grace is the New Age cow, who makes observations like, "This is an organic problem and needs a holistic solution." Their catalyst is a newcomer to the farm, Maggie , who quickly becomes the aggressive, in-your-face leader. Rounding out the team is Buck (Cuba Gooding Jr.), the stallion, who is a master of the martial arts. There are some surprisingly neat looking scenes, and not many cartoons of yesteryear had characters drawn as sharply. Whether the formula for this dairy goodness is to your taste, is clearly down to personal preference. Undeniably though, the sour aftertaste of a studio no longer caring was beginning to present itself. A feature with the consistency of semi-skimmed milk, avoiding the delectability of full fat wholesomeness.

That isn't a bad thing except with movie admissions these days I'd like a bit of a filling meal. I don't see just why it is that people don't like this film. It has good music, good animation, and funny dialogue, but it is fairly sappy. I thought that it was fairly good, even though the plot is just a wee bit weak.
At least 45,000 of the USPS' Next Generation Delivery Vehicle mail trucks, built by defense contractor Oshkosh, will be battery-electric, representing 75% of the planned 60,000-vehicle fleet. DOE research suggests we may face some problems with charging cybersecurity. The Porsche Taycan is eligible for an upgrade that may cut its home charging time in half.
The screenplay, however, smacks of desperate studio executives who are out of touch with today's audience. Assorted movie in-jokes should keep parents tolerably entertained, and Alan Menken's songs mercifully favor western swing over the expected twang pop. Unfortunately, Home on the Range was my only viable option, since I'm a guy and had no desire to see The Prince and Me or Ella Enchanted. After seeing Home on the Range, I just should've just stayed at home and watched DVD's... Home On The Range is a therapeutic working ranch located in western North Dakota. The facility provides education, therapy, spiritual guidance, and recreational and work activities.
I only rarely found amusing moments, and kept a straight face for almost the entire thing. For example, there's some weak slapstick, which may appeal to kids, but probably not many others. I found that the funniest parts involved Alameda Slim's dimwitted nephews, parts such as them not being able to recognise their uncle after they've seen him put his simple disguise on, but they are very minor characters.
